Instant Client Shoot delivery

Because digital seems to make everything instant, everyone seems to want every immediately and so deadlines seems to get tighter and tighter. Tim uses ProMediaserve to help meet urgent deadline, and uses the system for instant image delivery, where email and FTP takes too long and and is impractical. Uploading the images to the server, the client can immediately view the images and make a decision for which one to print from their web browser, downloading only the image they need. Often the client needs to collaborate with a designer, ad agency or colleagues who are not in the same office, so by using Tim's ProMediaserve account they can all see the images and make a joint decision without having to email them to each other. Tim has often had to shoot images that are going to print the the same day for an ad or a last minute change in a catalogue page. Without having ProMediaserve, it would have been difficult to meet these deadlines, and without compromising the security of the images. The client often wants the graphic designer to make the choice of an image for an ad , but not necessarily have access to the whole shoot or have all the hight resolution files, so the permission control on ProMediaserve assure that both Tim and his clients are in control who has access to viewing and downloading any image.

Example of instant delivery workflow:
Client ships Tim product to photograph > Tim shoots it same day it is received > Tim uploads RAW files from the hotel or even over 3G cell network to ProMediaserve account into a private client category > jpeg previews created on upload > client logs onto Tim's website and it taken directly to new images > client can view images and zoom to 100% to check detail from his web browser > client can have collaborators such as graphic agency or product buyers check image online from other locations > client can also email selection to others to invite them to go online to check image > graphic designer can finish up page or ad with chosen image preview or download the required RAW image >  or client can ask Tim to create a login so printer can have access to the selected image only for download directly.
