The majority of our photography involves models, whether it be for catalogues, advertising or stock. We have worked with numerous model agencies around the world, and developed our own techniques and tricks for model selection from cards or casting. When our photography involves sports action we rarely find model agencies capable of supplying competent sports models. With sports such as skiing, snowboarding and mountain biking, the risks involved with using anyone that isn't an expert in that sport is too high and a serious accident is potentially only seconds away. For technical sports like golf it is obvious from the shot if the model plays or not and because of this we are always looking for and booking models directly for our own productions and to present to clients for selection.

We have a large address book of potential models for any-kind of shoot form worldwide locations, that often can be booked directly. We cast our own models as much for their easy going and friendly personalities as we do their good looks. For sports action shoots we highly recommend using one of our models as we will only ever choose the most talented athletes for the jobs that have even the slightest potential risk. Riding a mountain bike might seem simple but if the model has never done it our experience tell us they probably will fall off when asked to do shots. We use pro athletes whenever possible. All our skiers and snowboarders have competed at the highest levels of competition, so you don't have to worry about them looking good in a shot, our climbers are mountain guides and instructors... We are always looking for new models of all ages, race and type. We shoot stock and can use any good-looking people for a number of different shoots and scenarios. From kids to senior, we are constantly 'street casting' as many potential models as possible. We like booking direct and have the flexibility to work with models we can call upon when the conditions or shoot opportunities arise. More often than not, the models we discover go on to model for other photographers and even get represented by model agencies. We believe that we have had great relationships with our models and that is proven by clients keeping some of the models for over 10 years, booking them each catalogue shoot over and over.
