Specialist in large, multi-day catalogue shoots we do several catalogues a year for clients such as UK outdoor sports retailer Snow and Rock and French sports retailer Decathlon in France. We have always tried to combine getting a product shot suitable for mail order, yet still look real and unposed. On catalogue shoots it is usual to be under a lot of pressure, to work with large teams and a need to get a lot of procuct shot in a day (20 to 25), often hindered by difficult weather conditions. We are happy to send any examples of our catalogue work and quote for any sized job whether it just be the photography or the complete production. The stock photo industry has changed and is changing rapidly. We understand that so we will consider shooting art directed stock for agencies on both a royalty based on sales and for wholly owned buyouts. We appreciate that it is now very difficult to submit speculatively to libraries and that there is currently a preference for wholly owned content. Rather than disagree with it, we have chosen to go with it, by producing more and more stock material.
Having contributed to most of the major stock libraries (Getty, Corbis, Jupiter, ImageState, etc...) and as we are continually shooting for our direct sales, we understand the requirements and expectations of stock shoots. Happy to work under direction, independently or to just turn up as a photographer for hire. We can manage the whole production and have extensive experience of shooting for stock in South Africa, San Diego, San Francisco, Utah, Lake Tahoe, the Alps, South of France, Corsica, Morocco, and in the UK.
Fully aware of the needs for model and property releases we can even deliver cleaned, color corrected and key-worded images ready for upload. |

We are sports specialist not just because Tim has been shooting sports since the first rolls of film, but because everyone on our team is involved with a variety of sports as a participant, often at a competitive level. Tim has a background in climbing, skiing, competitive running and cycling with accomplishments including climbing the north faces of the Eiger, Matterhorn and Grandes Jorasses in a month. He has skied with the best and has won international mountain running events such as the Karrimor Mountain Marathon and Sierre-Zinal. He was also one of the first paragliders in the Chamonix Valley. Being involved with sport allows us not only to predict action for shots and know what is a good sports picture when it comes to editing, but also means we are fit enough to get to locations and to understand what is required from the talent being photographed.

Twenty years of climbing and skiing on some of the worlds steepest and most dangerous mountain slopes means we are experts in extreme locations and difficult access photography. We are can do any rope access work whether it be just for a different angle to shoot a rock or ice climbing picture. Tim has been winched by helicopter onto the sheer rock face to film base jumping on the impressive West Face of the Dru, taken pictures on the North Face of the Eiger, skied the slopes of the World Extreme Ski Championships in Alaska, rafted Grade VI, used paragliders for aerial shots... The catalogues for the UKs leading outdoor and ski retail chain Snow and Rock require regular rope and high mountain techniques for their product to be shot in action. For safety and insurance we work with leading mountain guides and source qualified talent for any extreme or rope access shoot.

A lot of Tim's work ends up for advertising whether it is ads shot on a catalogue shoot or from stock sales. However, we regularly do purely commissioned advertising from ad agencies or graphic designers, and have produce major campaigns in association with agencies such as Saachi & Saachi in London or Young and Rubicam in Paris. Available, to do more difficult access type work, or extreme sports and can do all or part of the production from location finding to talent search and casting. We work well as a team with art directors and Tim's experience combined with his creative abilities ensure we supply the best shots possible for any campaign.

It seems every catalogue shoot requires still life product shots, so we are either shooting it in situ on location or in make shift studios. We also have a fully equipped studio in France suitable for full-size people shots to table top product. We also have portable studio lights, soft boxes, scrims, mini generators and battery packs to shoot on location. Our refined digital workflow ensures images taken in the studio are available for viewing by a client remotely within seconds of being shot. we are happy to quote on any studio job, either by the day or on a per product basis.

We have covered events for clients such the Swiss watch manufacturer Tissot SA. Normally hired to ensure images of the event include corporate branding and advertising images to be used in association with sponsorship, rather than to photograph the event itself. Our digital work flow allows us distribute the images to PR companies or the press directly from the event as soon as they are shot.
We will also consider, depending on workload, corporate events to ensure clients guests have a souvenir of the occasion. Have a corporate ski trip or golf tournament? We will be happy to quote if we are available... We enjoy variety, meeting new people and shooting different subject matter on occasions allows us to stay fresh for our core business.

We have a long history with providing both stock and resort images for numerous travel companies, from the major UK names such as Inghams Travel to the alpine luxury chalet holiday specialists. As a result, we are commissioned to shoot interiors on a regular basis. Being based in the Alps we are conveniently located for chalets and hotels used by ski companies. Stock photography also requires a lot of interior work and we are always looking for bright and interesting homes to use for locations. Interiors are as much about the styling and set up of the rooms as they are about the lighting. We spend a lot of time preparing all our interior photographs, and we know it is always worthwhile to take the time to lay a table or light a log fire. We are available to shoot interiors on an hourly or day rate, or per property basis.
